Less Yoda, More Good Films

This is from The Province, this morning:

[Federal Culture Minister Bev Oda says she's no fan of such measures as reserving a certain number of theatres to show Canadian films.
Such actions have been proposed to help improve the odds for Canadian films which, in English Canada, account for about two per cent of box-office revenues.
"You can have the screens there but when I walk into a multiplex, or an average Canadian walks into a multiplex, no one can force them to buy the ticket for a particular film," Oda said in an interview.
"The best way to get Canadians to see films are more good films coming out that will attract their interest."]

Yes, more good films. This has nothing to do with theatres. More good films will be so good they will just show themselves.

Unfortunately an aide of Yoda's commented later, "Actually, she said 'mohr goot villems' which is ancient yoda-speak for 'I can't help that I have nothing important to say'."
